Who's Who in Oaxaca?

Who can tell me the names of the major indigenous groups in the Oaxaca region? If we use the words "indigenous" and "mestizo", what do we mean?

Mexican Hot Chocolate!!

Our Mexican hot chocolate fundraiser has been huge success!!

With all the cold weather, a little hot chocolate has warmed up plenty of students and faculty here at Wat. The Abuelita brand of hot chocolate is an authentic Mexican recipe that combines dark chocolate with cinnamon. if you are interested, we purchased the chocolate at the Stop-n-Shop on New Park in Hartford. You'll find it in the foreign foods section.

A big thanks goes to Jon and Dave in the kitchen for preparing the hot chocolate each morning!!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards our service trip to Oaxaca, Mexico this summer.
